Tropical containers SUPER-SIZED!

Musa Explosion!

For the last 4 years, we at Kawasaki have had a tradition of planting extra large containers in front of the greenhouses.  The neighbors love it and it gives us a chance to display some of what we have worked so hard growing all year.  The containers are big…4′x4′!  This particular planter is already a hit.  Musa Ensete Maurelli is ready to explode in the center with Musa Margarita splashed around it.  Dragon Wing Red begonias live underneath with a few purple petunias and Lysmachia to add more color.  WOW!

The other is a close-up of another planter that has a Bird of Paradise in the center.  It is accompanied by cannas that are ready to POP, some coleus and petunias.  A tropical party in a pot!
