About Us

Carrying on a family history in the foliage business spanning five generations, Kawasaki Greenhouses, Inc. was founded in 1984.  We are family owned and operated and remain dedicated to providing  superior quality products, personal service and respected reliability.  Our products are grown with pride under stringent controls in our greenhouses on Eastern Long Island, ensuring our customers of healthy plants that are acclimated to our region.

Kawasaki Greenhouses, Inc. is a wholesale supplier. Our customers are garden centers, fine florists, interior and exterior landscape designers (incl. green roof/wall professionals) and other wholesalers in the NY metropolitan area.  We offer a full line of spring and summer bedding plants, flowering pot plants, tropicals and unusual annuals.  Check our availability for year-round indoor foliage plants and dish gardens.  We produce green roof sedum in liner trays (can accommodate custom sizes upon request) and Etera green roof tiles.

Location:
We are located at 15 Evergreen Avenue in East Moriches, New York.

From the west:
-Take the LIE (495) east to exit 62 south-Nicholls Rd. (97)
-Take Nicholls Rd. (97) south to Sunrise Hwy. (27) east
-Take Sunrise Hwy. (27) east to exit 61 – East Moriches/ County Road 51
-When exiting, veer right to take County Road 51 south
-Stay on County Road 51 for approx. 1 mile until the end. (County Road 51 runs into Montauk Hwy.)
-Make a right onto Montauk Hwy.
-Drive approx. 1/2 mile and pass under railroad trestle.
-Make a left onto Woodlawn Ave. (there will be a church on the corner)
-Continue on Woodlawn through 2 stop signs.
-Make a right onto Evergreen Avenue
-Drive down the first driveway on the left behind the gray barn.

From the east:
-Take Sunrise Hwy. west to exit 62 (CR 111-Manorville)
-Continue straight through the traffic light crossing CR111 and continuing on the ramp to the end.
-Turn right onto Eastport Manor Rd and make a quick left at the traffic light onto CR 51.
-Valero gas station will be on your left
-Take CR 51 south to the end and make a right onto Montauk Hwy.
-Drive approx. 1/2 mile and pass under railroad trestle.
-Make a left onto Woodlawn Ave. (there will be a church on the corner)
-Continue on Woodlawn through 2 stop signs.
-Make a right onto Evergreen Avenue
-Drive down the first driveway on the left behind the gray barn.

Kawasaki Greenhouses welcomes customers that want to pick-up their order.    You can stop by and pick out yourself, or call ahead and have an order pulled for pick-up.

Monday-Friday   7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  (closed between 12:00-1:00pm for lunch)
Saturday     7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
